Adeniyi Oluwaseyi Makinde (born 15 September 1991), known as Apostle Niyi, is a Nigerian Christian minister and author. He is the Founder and General Overseer of the Rebirth Global Church Family (RGCF), headquartered in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, and the Founder of Connect Global. Niyi Makinde has published over 120 books spanning the categories of Christian faith, personal development, wisdom & greatness, leadership, finance & wealth, business, ministry & church leadership, and dating & marriage.

Early Life and Education

Niyi Makinde was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on 15 September 1991. He attended Baptist Boys' High School, Abeokuta, before studying English Language at Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Ministry

First Sermon and Early Preaching

On 13 July 2003, at age 11, Niyi Makinde preached his first sermon during a children's program at a local church service. From that point forward, he continued to proclaim the Gospel regularly.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

On 6 August 2009, Niyi Makinde received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues.

Ordination as Minister

On 20 August 2011, at age 19, he was ordained as a Minister (Tutor).

Divine Vision and Founding of Rebirth Network

In 2010, Niyi Makinde reported receiving a divine vision to raise up ministers and leaders for global impact. On 15 April 2015, at age 23, he formally established the ministry under the name Rebirth Network. In 2017, to reflect its expanding reach, it was renamed Rebirth Global Church.

Ordination as Apostle

In 2016, at age 24, Niyi Makinde was ordained an apostle.

Rebirth Global Church Family (RGCF)

In April 2025, the church adopted the title, Rebirth Global Church Family (RGCF), to emphasize that, while operating as a single body, it encompasses multiple standalone churches known as Rebirth Independent Standalone Churches (RISACs), each having its own branches. RGCF remains headquartered in Abeokuta and comprises the following constituent standalone churches:
